Two Heartwarming Stories

Kathy in Mazatlan writes:

Yesterday a friend of a friend came in to town via a yellow and white cab to the Golden Zone. He was excited to visit our lovely city. When he got to his room he realized he left his leather pouch in the cab containing dollars, passport and other important papers. Shortly therefter the hotel received a phone call from cab driver and the pouch with all contents was delivered to him. Thank you for your honesty. Muchas gracias to our tourism.

Vitalia writes about losing her wedding rings.  She remembered before she got out of the car, she had taken her rings off and put them in her lap when she applied hand lotion..

I ran outside only to find out that there is a big sewer vent right under the door where I exited the car.  There was no sign of rings.  Just a big, ugly, scary sewer grid.

Rouget restaurant owner Brian in Newton, PA went into the sewer to search for her rings.

What are you willing to do for your clients, not to gain something, but to be a decent human being?

Shopping for Studio Designs Drafting Furniture

Studio Designs is an up and coming drafting furniture line ideal for homes, students, and small business owners. Their products are well made and quite affordable. That being said I wanted to take the time to express some of the useful features consumers will find if purchasing products made by Studio Designs.

Far and away the most popular Studio Designs products are from the Futura Craft Series of drafting products. So for this reason we will focus on them! The first thing you will notice is the tempered blue glass top. With a price tag well under $300 this is a huge bonus. Additionally you will notice features like a height adjustable top and an ample variety of storage compartments for holding art supplies. All together the Futura craft stations have 5 different storage areas. These areas are under the top, both sides of the table top, center drawer, and left or right side storage box. You will not find this much storage on many of the higher priced tables on the market.

Not to be overlooked is the stylish bow leg design that offers a modern feel and attractive light blue paint scheme. This look is why I feel the table is so popular. they truly are head turners and versatile craft stations as well.

That being said Studio Designs offers a host of other quality drafting products including a variety of comfortable and cost effective stools that will help to improve your day to day productivity. Studio Designs stools are priced around the $200 mark and in my opinion, this is a bargain! Our company has offered Studio Designs products for around two years now and we have had literally 0 problems in terms of shipping, product damage, or customer service. Studio Designs really goes above and beyond in terms of shipping products quickly, and ensuring that all of there customers are satisfied with there drafting products. Slowly but surely they are making an excellent statement in the drafting industry and should not be over looked by those in the market for a new drafting table or craft station.

What To Do? What To Do? Can You Help Me?

Image from Lalole Blog via Family Chic

So, I'm thinking of running some small courses in real life! Just a group of 6 to 10 women (or like minded fellas!), who're interested in creating a home that makes their heart sing!

But, I'm not sure what to focus on.

I figure the sessions would run for around 2 hours, cost about $25 to $30 for that time, and be held at a lovely little cupcake shop I know of that has a big hearty wooden table we could all fit around with bench seating.

I could use the shop to myself for my sessions - it's only little, and the big table is the main feature. We'd have lovely coffee and cupcakes whilst having fun with what we were doing.

So....... I'd love to hear your opinions as to what you think I should focus on!

• Decluttering and how to go about it?
• How to use colour in the home?
• How to find the 'heartbeat' of your home, breathe life into it, and create rooms with soul? (I have all sorts of quizzes, questions, examples, and unusual ideas to go with this one..... however squeezing it into 2 or 3 hours could be a 'mission impossible' - that's what my 8 week e-course will be about if I ever get it finished).
• How to use your 'Secret Room' wishes to materialise a true home with heart?
• Creating a 'mood board' and walking through some classic design books (like the Domino Book of Decorating and some of Jonathon Adler's amazing volumes)?

What do you think?

And what about the price? Too much? Too little?

I'd love it, love it, love it, (and be super seriously grateful) if you told me what you think.
