Miami: A city full of glamour, excitement, and very modern contemporary

Miami:

As I show friends of mine that are in town the sites and sounds of Miami, I can';t stop thinking how much this city has grown in the past 10 years.. From a downtown that no one dared venture out at night, a Biscayne Blvd, Miami's downtown main artery stretching from Brickell to Miami Shores, so full of drug pushers and prostitutes no one traveled on this road, and crime so elevated, people always talked about this city in a negative crime infested waste.

Fast forward ten years and what do we have now.. A downtown full of residenial developments that is thriving with an entertainment districk, restaurant districts in Bayside, Brickell Village, and the city nightlife section, the city has a new arena, stadium, and Performing arts center, all of Biscayne Blvd has been completely remodeled and has sprung various entertainment areas, the Miami Design district has been revitalized int an arty community, and the cities future looks bright as ever with more and more development and business moving back from the areas they had abandoned long ago.. 

With change a new wave of young hip people have moved in and all buildings being build and most houses being built are being built in the modern contemporary style, giving Miami a new facelift and also making it the showplace for many of the new designs in both architecture and interior design in the modern contemporary style of design. 

Yesterday while riding in my car, I stopped and took a few pictures for al of you to enjoy of the sites and sounds of Miami, Miami Beach, and the Downtown. I hope all of you enjoy these fantastic pictures of what I believe to be one of the most modern cities in the United States, one that full of fashion, style, and is at the forefront of current and upcoming trends, a city that changes with the times and flows with the attitudes of the day.

Part 2 of 2, Shanghai China

part 2 of 2: Shanghai, China

Every once in a while you see buildings and structures designed by the worlds best architects and interior designers and you ask yourself am in a future time or still in 2011. Well I forget that all buildings today are being designed using very modern materials and technology allowing them to be bigger, taller, and in whatever shape we create in our imaginations. Increasingly US cities, still stuck n the boxy tall, and useful mentality are falling behind the rest of the world when it comes to these new, futuristic looking buildings and cities that the world is now begining to build. Two countries in particular, The United Arab Emirates, and China are at the forefront of this new modern construction. Why, simple, China has simply wiped out what was once urban slums and completely remodeled these areas from the ground up and The United Arab Emirates has transformed itself into the new mecca for tourism and vacations in the middle building on what once was desset dunes or arid land and transformed them into the beautiful gleaming cities of today.

Its not that the US, old Europe, and South America have fallen behind, but simply that they have to much History and build accordingly to preserve the traditional values of their cities. For example the Empire State building, while iconic and unimaginable in its time is now simply an old concrete beautful building but nothing that resembles the era of lets say 3012. Now of course do not for one minute think I want to get rid of the Empire State building for a Jetson's futuristic looking building out of China, I am simply saying that our cities do not look that way and I think the Empire state building and its top Spiral are the most amazing and beautiful sites of our world. Its a classic example of American ingenuity, design, creativity, and was the talk of its time. The Marble alone in that building make it one of our modern wonders. 

I am simply stating that starting from nothing is whag has allowed these countries to create these cityscapes. Please see below for my second part of a two part series showing Shanghai China, the second and in my opinion the most modern downtown of any city in the world, or of our time.

Enjoy the following pictures. As you approach the city it appears to look like a scene straight out of science fiction. Think back to the 1960's versions of what an alien city looked like and you will see Shanghai of today.. Its amazing.

Here are the wonderful building architecture and interior in Abu Dhabi – The Yas Island Yacht Club by Omiros One Architecture. this building really creative architecture maker. The Yas Island Yacht Club is highlighted by bright white outer shells of two main buildings on the stage and the Yas Marina F1 track. The sculptural forms of construction is reflected in a series of water features around play in a garden designed to complement the curvilinear architecture. A matrix of the glass facade integrated LED lights allow processing shells on giant screens pixelated screen against the night sky. let’s check the Wonderful Building Architecture an Interior in Abu Dhabi – The Yas Island Yacht Club picture below:

Inside, the lobby has a large staircase and curved walls glass of water around the observation elevator, the main volume topped by a glass dome, about 15 meters above ground level. The walls of plywood and three levels of polished metal links the entry with the cigar bar, which commands the view of the canal and the marina. The VIP room features private facilities top-level dining room, meeting areas and meeting spaces, all captured by a curved roof, which follows the outer skin of the building shell. The “curve” of the Yacht Club opens for outdoor decks on three levels.

Stuning beauty in the Florida Sunshine... Miami and Miami Beach are two of the most beautiful, newest cities in the world. There architecture is reflective of the current times and follows all the latest trends in designs, high fashion, and the latest cars. They are indeed trendy world class cities where there are plenty of good looking people but rarely do you find people with a good heart. They are cities that are more surface then roots but at least we can enjoy these pictures as they are absolutely beautiful to look at..
